DocJackie is a longtime resident of Houston, Texas where she lives with her wife Rachel, and their two dogs, Addie and Lola. She is passionate about her practice and serving her community. She enjoys laughing, dancing, music, cycling, weight lifting, karate, traveling, eating out and entertaining.

DocJackie's practice location in central Houston is convenient for both people and pets. Her mobile service provides for those in the surrounding areas and/or with larger animals. Several times each week DocJackie travels to see clients throughout Central and South Texas.

DocJackie is often called upon for television interviews or media commentary. She is also a frequent speaker for specialty groups, organizations and clubs. She has been recognized many times throughout the years for her services both professionally and to her community. Her reputation carries her throughout the U.S. and internationally.

About DocJackie

Jacqueline A. Doval, also known as DocJackie, is the owner of the Texas Animal Wellness Center and the Alternative Health & Wellness Center. She earned a B.S. in Biology/Pre-Medicine at the University of Puerto Rico, an M.S. in Exercise Physiology/Cardiac Rehabilitation at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, pursued doctoral studies at Texas A&M, and is a graduate of Texas Chiropractic College.

DocJackie is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic and holds the distinction as the first chiropractor in Texas to be certified in Animal Chiropractic by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA). She holds both the Basic and Advanced Animal Chiropractor Certificates. She is a lifetime member of the AVCA and served on the Board of Directors for 13 years.

DocJackie’s hands-on approach integrates multiple techniques to address the entire body from head to toe. She helps restore the physiological and biomechanical mechanisms of movement for people and animals. Well-known locally, nationally, and internationally, DocJackie has provided Wellness For ALL Walks of Life™ since 1992. While the majority of her practice involves horses, dogs, cats and people, in the course of her career, she has also adjusted: show steers, heifers, donkeys, sheep, goats, pot-bellied pigs, lemurs, a ferret, a duck, and a zebra!

In 2019 Jackie was inducted into the Chiropractic Hall of Fame and honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She has one son Mario, an aspiring hip-hop artist, producer, and audio engineer. She is married to Rachel Everson. They live in Houston with their Norfolk Terrier Selena! Itty Bitty Bom Bom!
